Former U.S. ambassador to the U.N. (I still can't get over that), John Bolton, seems more interested in coming up with clever titles than telling the truth. Click here for Bolton's article in the New York Times in which he advocates for bombing Iran.
What dishonest, morally depraved people there are among our foreign policy elite. Continuing the canard that Iran is seeking nuclear weapons, Bolton refers to supposedly "widespread acknowledgment that the rosy 2007 National Intelligence Estimate, which judged that Iran's weapons program was halted in 2003, was an embarrassment, little more than wishful thinking." Well, it certainly was an embarrassment to the lying neocons who have been trying to push us into another costly and unjust war. But Bolton implies that the NIE was somehow inaccurate...without citing a single source to support this claim. How does this nonsense get published?
